THE QUALITY OF OUR CHOCOLATE STARTS WITH THE WORK IN THE PLANTATION

I am very proud to present the new website of Claudio Corallo cacau e cafe. It was long overdue, but after we opened our e-commerce shop it was the first job we took on. Part of the new web page is this blog. Everybody has been trying to convince me it is a good idea to start blogging. In my years in Zaire I did write regularly in my diary, so I decided to give it a try.
However, between all the work in the plantation and the travels I do, it won't be easy to keep this up all the time. In order to not disappoint you too much, I'll give the ideas I have about the blog to you now. First of all, writing in English is very hard for me. I'm still a student (a friend is helping me this time). Therefore, my blog will be in Italian, my native language. Second of all, I won't be able to write often. What I have in mind is to inform you about the important things that happen in the plantation. What I will share with you on a regular basis as well are some of the diary entries I made in my earlier years in Zaire. It helps to understand who I am now, and why we work the way we do. There is another simple restriction I have to face: we are a small company totally dedicated to making the best cacao and coffee. That means it is impossible for me to stay at a desk and answer comments that you have. I'm sorry about this, but working in the plantation takes up most of our time.
